Fossil Rim Trip

We went to Glen Rose, TX for a day trip to Fossil Rim, which is a safari-type zoo. Melody had a great time feeding the animals. Valerie was a bit nervous about the giraffes and zebras sticking their heads into the car, but she really wanted to see the animals. So she would say "giraffe come!" excitedly only to hide behind grandma (奶奶) when the giraffe comes. David ended up doing most of the close encounters with the animals though...

By the way, did you know that the giraffe's tongue is purplish? David was surprised to find out this fact!
